Power Steering

Power steering was fitted to Aston Martins from the DB6 onwards which made a massive improvement in low speed manoeuvrability over the previous models.  If you are the owner of a DB2/4 up to a DB5 there is now an upgrade available to fit the beautifully engineered electric EPAC system.

For the DB2/4 range it involves the replacement of the old worm and roller gears within the steering box with a new accurately machined matched pair.  This alone transforms the feel of the steering and with the added fitment of the power steering unit it gives a lighter more progressive feel to the handling never before available.

For the DB4/DB5 and non-assisted DB6 the same technology is employed making the steering lighter, more precise and more enjoyable on today’s busy roads.
