A growing pursuit for classic car owners is international rallying and touring. Whether it is a non-competitive event like the Tulip rally or a full blown trek from Panama to Alaska, Trinity Engineering can prepare your car to survive the toughest terrain.
Since the very beginning we have prepared cars for the most gruelling events such as the ‘Around the World’ in 80 days rally in 2000 which covered over 26,000 miles from start to finish and involved driving through every continent. With 102 cars starting the event the DB2/4 prepared by Trinity Engineering came home 5th overall and won the Sports Car class.
More recently Trinity Engineering have prepared a DBMKIII for consecutive friendship rallies around the Mediterranean countries and then through South America from one end to the other. The driving conditions in these countries varied from challenging to exhausting and true testament to the strength of an Aston Martin is that it survived the events with very little ongoing repairs.
Proof that this type of use for a classic Aston Martin is becoming ever popular is that alongside rally preparation, we have also prepared cars for the Goodwood Members Meeting, Silverstone Classic and the gruelling Nouvalari 1000 mile event in Italy.
Competing in a tour or rally in an Aston Martin is an incredible way of seeing and driving through several wonderful countries with some breathtaking scenery. If you have ever thought of taking part and wondered whether your Aston Martin would be able to complete the trip then we have many examples to convince you.
